  1. Starting this since there doesn't seem to be one for it! Post your area in which you keep your computer/laptop and do your Ordo thing! I was asked to post pics of my new PC a while ago, but then I kinda hospitalized myself, but now I'm back, I can! So, here is my setup.

  7. I once had an Ordo dream that felt alarmingly real, it only ever happened once, but I was exhausted and on defence at like 3am after the weekly meeting and slumped against my desk and sort of transitioned into a sleep state with secondlife and ventral still running. The wierdest part being my breathing matching the rythm of my avatars laboured growling. The rest was a bit patchy but I remember feeling very heavy and everyone being knee height, I was basically Arokh. Stumbled clumsily around a base that had been ingrained into my head over a year (old titan) felt really groggy, and kept hearing the vent chatter from the waking world in my ear. The base alarm went off and that somehow translated into my dream. The whole thing felt like a 'what if Ordo and my character were real' surreal moment. I woke up with a gasp when the tp'ed home sound played cause I'd afk'd on the line. Bout the time I went to bed feeling a bit tripped out.
  8. So, I fancy myself as a bit of a cameramanvideomakertypething when it comes to second-life and such. So below are a few of my videos of rolling moving video footage bar the slideshow type videos I did. They start from old and go through to my very latest (Uploaded this evening.). Feel free to take a peek at them and tell me what you think, comments, criticisms, tell me if you think I'm making progress! (Or not. :C) [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9xjQmLwdbKA [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l2-pfDmqBRo [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7HEimoV1QIY Misc Videos below! 11. There are recorded skype calls to my best friend of me playing this game, with all the lights in the house out, and a few deliberately lit wax-candles in my room. The 5.1 surround whacked all the way up, and no idea what I was getting myself into. What follows is me playing in 2-3 hour bursts of screaming like a girl, sobbing, garbled words of utter despair and panic as i flee from faceless beings pursuing me through a myriad of caves and hallways that all seem to double back toward a dreadful beast I have only seen glimpses of because I am too petrified to keep the camera trained on it. This sensation of terror lasted until I reached a breaking point and became all "FUCK THIS NOISE. AND FUCK. YOUR. COUCH. NIGGA." and charged head-on at this creature, and found it actually remarkably easy to bull-rampage past him and around, completing tasks at twice the speed with him following me like the kid that stinks of pee at school. For my friend recording the calls, he initially played it as if not a single fuck was given, but as the game progressed, he became more frightened by it. All in all, we both managed to continually punish ourselves by playing his horrifying game through to it's.. rather unusual ending. Excellent game, but once you've played it through, it's not scary anymore. Also, this. [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H4w0_n1Yras

  13. Name: Arokh Takakura Rank: Enumerated - 7, Succenturio Role: Unknown. Blurb: Not many of the Numeriis knew much about the walking shadow-caster that had been aptly nicknamed 'sunblock' by the Imperator at one stage. But he wasn't much of a talker. Many of his sentences were brief, gutteral grunts. Perceptions were deceiving of course, as the large dragon had a greater desire for knowledge than most would think. A rare sight in combat too, rumours were it was either his weapons were so expensive to have in service, due to the size of them. Or it was to keep his bloodlust down? Close-quarters combat was something the towering monster actively sought, but was rarely rewarded, enemies often backpedalling at the first sight of him to deal with him at a safer range. Who could blame them when he often charged at them with makeshift melee weapons such as bits of street-furnishings? The knives the Imperialis provided were inadequate for his grasp. The draconian had his bad habits, often spotted chewing on a cigar bigger than most men's wrists, clearly fashioned from the destruction of several smaller cigars. Though whenever Praetorian Praefactus Tretiak was around, he would be seen to quickly extinguish it for reasons unknown, perhaps it had something to do with that blinded, grey, dead and burned eye of his. As it stood, not much was known, but rumours were rife. Nobody knew what happened when a cadet failed Imperial Purity or Schola tests, but they often vanished shortly after receiving notice of failure without any trace. Some thought they were executed, but the bodies were never found. Other, more knowledgeable Senior NCOs and older enlisted had a vague idea, they knew the draconian was never in the Canteen, ever. "Don't get in trouble." They'd whisper. "Or you might end up lunch." Personality: Grumpy, stern, blunt, abrupt, forceful, dour, bad-tempered, diplomatic, killjoy. Signature items: Paladementium (Cloak-cape thing), Torn up lamp-post.
  14. I sense an imminent Uniform change, again, lol.
