  1. Updated the list. Added new development projects. Gave statistics on weapons sales. I will keep them current. Expect more activity towards Titan Industries in the coming weeks.
  2. PC players? Getting patches for a console port? I lol'd and then sadfaced. :( They've patched Borderlands on X-Box multiple times, yet haven't even touched the PC version.
  3. Oh hai. We share a birthday.

    ...

    NO.

  4. Anlysia: It hasn't done that to me yet. I've had this setup for the last ten times I've booted up Borderlands. Zrazor: It will work for Shift if Shift uses Bink Video. Bink files are attributed to the .bik file extension. Given that, there isn't a single game I've run into that uses Bink video that won't let you do this. Battlefield 2, for example, had those annoying unskippable logo cutscenes. This method will work for that, as well. Knowing which files to remove, however, is the hard part. You'll need RAD Video Tools 1.2 to see what the video contains, because there are some cutscenes you won't want to remove for whatever reason (for example, the final cutscene of Borderlands, or Battlefield 2's menu background).
  5. Borderlands: Skipping Scenes! Wouldn't be the first time I've killed Bink. Navigate to this folder: \Valve\Steam\steamapps\common\borderlands\WillowGame\Movies Create a folder in the Movies folder called Off. Cut and paste the following files into the Off folder: 2K_logo.bik Attract.bik Gearbox_logo.bik NVidia.bik Prelude.bik VoG_Transition_Movie.bik Consider the beast slaughtered. Easiest boss in the game.
  6. Change is not always a good thing; rather, only when there is purpose. Our current nomenclature works, and it is unique. Why change it? Afterall, we are not a simple copy-paste of a real world military. The Mercz wouldn't dare change their rank nomenclature, either; it is indicative of their theme, as is ours. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. We really do not need to replace everything for the sake of replacing it. Seriously. Some things are in place because they work.
  7. https://www.chiaobama.com/flare/next I couldn't stop laughing when I watched the video of this thing. And that's not all! />http://obamacondoms.com/ (Click at own risk.)
  8. "I don't deserve this. D:" Sorta the same response I gave when I got the Crown, come to think of it. Rofl.
  9. http://video.ign.com/dor/articles/927759/sarcastic-gamer/videos/sarcasticeg_prt_ODST_100109.html Lol. I'm not complaining though. I didn't own the map packs until I got ODST.
  10. First Floor: Tools, Guns, Keys To Super Weapons.
  11. Your ferret might om nom your bird if you're not careful, too.
  12. I got this game the day it came out, Anly... I have every right to be infatuated with it. ;_;
  13. http://store.steampowered.com/app/32380/ This was just released on Steam for approximately $5 USD. The prequel to Jedi Outcast. Looks like crap, but it's a good one if you like modding shit. We could even get some Ordo people going on its many different play options; I'm already spinning ideas around in my head for an Ordo-based mod. Admittedly: It's old, it's archaic, it's retro, but it's great. The single and multi are good, as they come, but the real power behind this game's success was how easy it was to mod it. Quite a few modifications came out for the game, and one of the greatest repositories of these was and is http://www.massassi.net/. This site still exists today. Many, many, many single-player mods existed. Even I was familiar with creating content with the game. Actually, come to think of it, a lot of content creation in terms of making levels and objects came in a form very similar to building in Second Life, albeit on a much higher level. First level. Pic and Gorc vs. Kyle Katarn, Jedi Battle. JkPro Mod - Some mod I've never heard of before I saw this video, but I'd imagine this mod would take no more than four hours of good effort to put together, not including the models, which I'm sure the modder just ripped from some other mod. For the scripters in our community who are interested in the coding language of JK, you'll be happy to know that the coding language is extremely similar to C. As a result of the engine being able to stomach even the most radical environments, especially on modern, powerful rigs, the possibilities are pretty much limitless. 14. Politicians lining up to apologize. If this happened in real life, would you believe them? xD
  15. No. Snow leopards will not make your computer run faster.
  16. Damn, Euro, didn't even know you lived in SoCal. I'm just south of LA, in that intricate mess of suburbs that sort of meshes off of it.
  17. I wanna ride the fun bus too.
  18. Agreed wholeheartedly. I've always viewed merits as a reminder of good deeds done, and not as a motivator. Act like yourself and strive for success of your unit, and of Ordo, and you will become decorated. The greatest of achievements are gained not through desire, but through recognition of your steadfast effort. Congratulations to everyone. :)
  19. Zero, have we told you how much you rock recently? Because we sure as hell are doing so now. Rock on, buddy.
  20. [biasedloveforthevaevictus] How about an island sim? The terrain can be made interesting by having it be a crash landing site of a Vae Victus-class freighter, with chunks of its machinery scattered throughout the beach. The offense can fight up a hill off the beach, using actual pieces of the VV for cover, and the command post is the bridge. The engine room, offices, and barracks can be mostly intact, with only light terrain damage (like plant growth coming through the ground and ceiling, some sand and soil in certain parts). Those three sectors can serve as our main base, the hangar the front door of the makeshift base. The "arms" of the craft would be too smashed to use as a base, so they're retrograded into a natural defense. The enemy can only attack the command post from the front, as the arms of the craft are blocking any other route. On the way up, the enemy could go through wrecked hallways on either arm, up to a certain point, whereupon they must actually come out into the open in front of the hangar to continue their advance. Setting would be tropical, naturally. Palm trees and shiz. Sand. And a cool base. [/biasedloveforthevaevictus]
  21. Incredibly intriguing. I'm happy that the Guard is getting a bit of a boost in the authoritative sense, because it'll make it easier for them to carry out their tasks and give them some elbow room. Wholeheartedly looking forward to the final implementation. So it's remaining at the traditional limit of ten Guardsmen, I take it?
  22. Reactivated my comments, purged the old ones.

  23. Kittykittykittykittykittykittykitty... Happeh burday.
  24. A heartfelt salute to you, Tenaki. ... You... you deer/rabbit/fox/thingwhatsiteverthatyouare/FFFFFFFFFFFFFFfffffffff-- <3 PS: Can I come play golf with you?
