Avoid iOS 6. It has some pretty major inconveniences, especially if you use maps often (my city of over 1 million people has only four major roads apparently).

The first raid parties I took part in under Huttser were organized extremely well and went off pretty much without a hitch. We steamrolled through some of the best both NC and VS had to offer and hardly broke a sweat. This was primarily because we were told to pile into a single Galaxy with no air support, and our designated objective required flying over four highly contested hexes, and a Vanu-controlled air tower. We were sitting ducks. We would've been in tough to make it even if we had an air escort. Even if we had one and survived, we would've been wiped out to no avail as the contested hex we needed to capture said point was already gone before we were halfway to the target. Directed properly, we've already proven we can smash through the best outfits that NC and VS have to offer. We did it with less then a third of the manpower we had during the 'ABC' mess. We did it so well we literally pushed Vanu back from just short of our Warpgate, to their own, and we then proceeded to do an Alamo and prevent them from mounting any serious offense for two hours. We can't hold the map ourselves, but we can make a serious impact in the front lines deployed properly. If we take 30 minutes to organize and still have the same target 30 minutes later, there is an issue. And with how chaotic PlanetSide combat is, we most certainly can't have three different squads tasked with three different points or tasks in the same channel. Even if it's only COs or XOs talking, that's still 3 - 6 people talking, that's still bloody confusing to everyone listening trying to discern what their orders are. It's chaotic and will just lead to a breakdown of discipline. Galaxies are also presently the only means of a reliable resupply, and they are absolutely invaluable at taking sky towers and major bases due to their ability to become literal miniature fortresses on the all-important top level. They also work brilliantly as rapid deployment vehicles, something which we made repeated use of during our little crusade across the continent. Given air cover, and they're far more reliable and far less exposed then a tank column would be - the tank column sounds cool and all, but at present it only takes a Liberator or two to absolutely wreck one.

One thing that would probably help immensely is getting some more contact with other TR outfits. Maybe give their commanders access to our TS so we can coordinate better. Last night a lot of what Charlie Squad tried was made moot because the connecting territories would be lost before we were even at the site. During busy hours like Saturday night we just can't fly off and do our own thing, as the other factions have some pretty nasty outfits of their own which will aim for us. That and Vanu Scythes and Max suits. We can't fly unprotected Galaxies into their territory any more.

I had a fantastic time at AC itself. I just wish I hadn't skimped out on the airline part, flying was a nightmare this year. That said, it was awesome seeing you guys again, as well as meeting some new faces. I'll definitely make another trip next year.

I'm going to be playing Diablo 2 sporadically on my weekend. I have never played a Diablo game before, so I want to have a slight idea of what I'm getting myself into. (looking at Demon Hunter. Pewpew~)

What Arokh said - Zalman works, but it's notoriously noisy. Their cases don't make sense either (they come with five 'bays', but only one tray - so the other four bays don't have anything to actually mount drives onto). I'd rather get a Corsair or CoolerMaster for CPU cooling - they work, and they are much quieter.

So long as $$ doesn't let me slip into an Exoskeleton with a top-tier gun right outside the noob area, I think I'd be alright. :l
