  1. Facebook Post: "My Oven has a "Stop Time" button. It probably means to Stop the Timer, but i'm not gonna press it, just in case."
  2. I will agree on SP stories being progressively shorter, and Russia being the stereotypical bad guy of most games. But as i recall, the MW2 storyline actually did branch a bit further than "US vs. Russia lololol". That Russian Revolutionary, "Makarov", actually made a third branch in the story, since nobody ever really figured out where he went, and he was the entire reason Russia invaded the US. (That controversial Airport scene, where your character was undercover and working for the CIA, then killed by makarov and used as a Scapegoat.) And then the tossed-under-the-table feeling when the story shifts down to just Soap and Captain Price, and their now global burn notice. But i can understand how it feels entirely two-sided with the US / Russia. But from what i saw, nobody was really the bad guy in that story. It was just a crapton of poor decisions, followed by a cheesy war criminal / vigilante storyline. It was more a 2.5 sided thing, with two explosives on each side, and then the guy in the middle (Makarov) lighting the fuses.
  3. The Bushmaster ACR can fire 7.62x39 with a few quick parts changes. At least from what i heard from Futureweapons.

  4. As i recall, there was a game title Frontlines: Fuel of War, that directly hit the current crisis on the US involvement in the Middle-East, and had escalated it to the point where the future of the war led entirely to Profit from Oil. The two sides of the game were the US and its certain countries that have some say in the Oil industry, and then the rest of Europe. (Russia, Middle-Eastern countries, China, Korea, etc.) And to be honest, it actually made the US seem like the assholes throughout the entire campaign.
  5. Feels alot like a monologue (Or a Prologue) to a classic Frank Herbert Novel. Especially the first part. I literally went "Dude, this feels like Dune." I like it.
  6. Okay, so Cryptic is still sending me newsletters concerning STO, although my account's been down for the past 4-5 months. But from what i'm seeing, they've actually listened to many of the good ideas of the community, and placed them into the upcoming Season 3 patch. I saw this stuff, and squealed. But then i realized that i STILL cannot afford to turn my account back on, and then i was sad. I need a job. :3
  7. ^ I am now impressed < With the improvised haiku v minds are now destroyed (Aware that the setup is wonky, but i am actually impressed.)
  8. Ooh. I like that one. Was there a specific Preset for that?
  9. World -> Environment -> Something like "Advanced Environment" or somesuch. It's at the bottom of the list with the daylight settings.
  10. Some sweet effects i found on Snowglobe. Also decided to try it on Nrom, and i think the results came out nice for his figure.
  11. I can haz AK74SU model? I'm an Astra pilot, i need a compact one :(

  12. There are definate advantages to the US armor. It just takes a few seconds to find them. The M3 Stuart in comparisson to its russian counterpart, the BT-7, is just about equal when you weigh out the differences. M3: Smaller Gun, slightly slower. In exchange, the Engine and Suspension is much more powerful (Aka, consistent speed even in muddy terrain and it can climb hills really well), and it has much more armor. BT-7: Faster (72 Km/h compared to 61), Larger gun total (45mm on BT-7, 37mm on M3), in exchange for slowing to a crawl in mud and when going uphill, and being 1-shotted. I've had the T1's 120mm hit my M3 in the nose and all i lost was half health and my driver at point-blank.
  13. Going for a Sherman and stopping there. If they had added an extra 10 years to the timeline and introduced the M60 into the fray, then i'd go further, but for now, i'm stopping at the Sherman / Jumbo Sherman.
  14. My father enlisted into the US Army in about 1972-73 (Wasn't placed into active service since Vietnam was essentially wrapping up, so he instead was training to fight the Russians for the Cold War.) 3rd battalion, 1st Armor (Has been reintegrated into 2nd Battalion, 1st Infantry Division). I'ma call him up and have a chat. He was in service during the final years of the M60A3 MBT, and was a crewman of one. Got to see the insides of the original prototype model of the M1 Abrams tank, as he would often be shipped between Fort Riley, Kansas and Fort Knox, Kentucky. He's still alive, and never really saw combat outside of training, but i still consider him a veteran in many ways. (Note: Scanned from a Polaroid found in his old Yearbook. 1979, Fort Knox.)
  15. ..... FUUUUUUU---- That's almost as bad as nosehair pulling. That shit makes hardcore men shit without even realizing it happened.
  16. M16 MGMC (M3 halftrack, modified to carry a Quad .50cal AA mount. Nicknamed the "Meat Chopper"). Screw a single .50cal, let's get 4. Side note, i've always wanted a decent SOPMOD M4. I can never find a decent one that isn't a POS or made by Black Ops (Refer to POS),
  17. That was baby powder, i swear!
  18. Helpful tips to growing a marvelous (And probably chemical-ridden) beard: 1: Go to moderately shady grocery Store (Albertsons here for me). 2: Go to Meat Department. 3: Buy from Clearance / Sale Racks at least 3 times a week 4: Go home, cook / eat said clearance meat 5: Profit. Seriously. That stuff gets pumped SO full of chemicals and dyes because it's a week from expiring and looks like it died twice over without it. And thanks to this and my Mother, i've been growing extravagant chinstrap beards since i was 13.
  19. ....THAT MOOSE WAS WATCHING TV. REPENT YE SINNERS, THE END IS NEIGH--

  20. I used to play WoW until my account was hacked and went esplody. By then i was so goddamn disgusted with Blizzard that i simply left my account to rot, and now it's probably banned in 8 countries (Probably asian or european countries.) 80 Night Elf Warrior. Yeah, i was Alliance, and i openly regretted the choice. Cataclysm's gonna feel exactly like WotLK did. You'll get it, play it for 2-3 weeks, max out on everything, then enjoy sitting around farming dailies for the next 2 months in hopes of new content.
  21. Note: The T-28's highest-tiered gun is the stock cannon on the KV-3. >_> Also, it does 45-50 KmPH, can go uphill really quick, and its turret / main traversal is intense. Only issue is the lack of armor.
  22. Run the T-28 on Elite Status and transfer the EXP into the KV-3. Sell the KV. The T-28 can put the 85mm Gun on it, and it's capable of punching through nearly any tank up to about Tier 7, as long as you know where to hit it and where to not get manhandled by Artillery.
  23. I agree, the art style in this is very nice. It does feel very dark and gritty, and the live-action characters (At least i believe they are) are pretty whimsical, as well as a nice touch to the background.
  24. I'm in a KV now. Just trying to sneak in some wins so i can at LEAST get a bigger gun. Otherwise i'm boned.
