  1. No. Do not. Ever. Unspeakable. Allan Moore is going to kill you all.
  2. Masculinity is not defined by beards, but by how hard you can punch Christoph in the neck. Let's have at it, chaps!
  3. Faith does not inherently mean blindness. It can mean, to some people, a willingness to trust that we do not in fact know everything. Faith should be separated from fanaticism just as patriotism should be from jingoism. Faith should mark it bearer not with hubris, but humility and openess to the possibilities of what we don't know. I strongly believe that just as there is such a thing as pseudo-science, there is pseudo-religion, or if you will, pseudo-faith. There was a time when people insisted racism was scientifically supported, and similarlly, those who insisted it was religiously supported. The meeting place of morality is not in science or religion alone, but rather in the rational dialog we can have between the two. Abuses arise not from faith, politics, or science alone, but by the misapplication of such ideas by individuals and groups, in the service of selfish goals and purposes, no matter how lofty they may seem. I may be an ivory-tower centrist for thinking this, but I do not see any harm in science seeking to explain the functions of the universe we exist in, nor in faiths or philosophies seeking to understand the meaning or means by which we can best function within that universe, and what may be beyond it. Looking at facets of a greater Truth does not make either wrong, or either absolutely correct. It is in the balance, tensions, and dialogs of opposing or seemingly paradoxical concerns that we are perhaps the most human, and the most rational. I find Truths that strike me subjectively and objectively in concepts found in Tao, Absurdism, Positive Existentialism, Utilitarianism, Zen and other forms of Buddhism, and the more liberal rational traditions in Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. I also tend to agree with the following quotes: Of course, it would be absurd to think that this little post could outline the entirety of a personal philosophy ;_;
  4. My dearest Imperator, being a Fop, Dandy, and Man of Fashion and Taste, I was wondering if my Silk Lace Cravat, Brocade waistcoat, breaches, buckle-shoes, and floppy hat could be considered as such. Being a man fit for only the finest, I cannot conceive of wearing anything less than my best.
  5. HEY GUESS WHO HAS A WHOLE BUNCH OF PROPAGANDA VIDEO STORYBOARDS HE'S BEEN SITTING ON FOR A WHILE? I THINK HIS NAME STARTS WITH 'T' OR SOMETHING. MAYBE IT WAS AN 'I'.
  6. AN... used to be cool? WHAT IS THIS?! Why is my world shattering so ;_;
  7. "NO! I MUST KILL THE VANGUARDS!" he shouted. The radio said "No, Tiri. You are the Vanguards." And then Tiri was a heretic.
  8. You should celebrate with nuclear physics. Have a real banging party, with a half-life of about 300 years. It'd be the hottest shindig in town, and I'm sure it'll leave an impact. I'm certain it'd be ground zero for awesome, and anyone around is sure to notice. You'll leave the day with a real glow. I've got a million of 'em.
  9. <4 hours into the speech> .... - And so, allow me to tell you about my time in the Ordo, so that you, too, may learn from my exemplary service and heroic dedication: The first time I saved the Imperator's life was during the Conquest of Thelva'ar, where a dastardly sniper was able to position himself in a nearby tower. I saw the glint of his scope, and dove to protect him, just as the bullet struck me in the chest. I then returned fire on his position killing him instantly. This was the first time I recieved the Imperator's Star, mind you. The Second time was three years later when a deranged diplomat decided to rush the Imperial Dias. The only thing that reached the Imperator was the fool's head as it rolled to a stop at his feet, as I had swiftly decapitated the insane Ambassador. I was awarded my second Imperator's Star on the spot. I even have the head of the Ambassador in my office, preserved in a specimen jar. Seriously, stop by, and see it sometime. It's awesome, his mouth is just kinda like hanging open, and a look of confused, psychotic rage on his face. The Third time was another month after, during our Glorious Invasion of The Dread Moon of Periwin XVII. We'd just set up a base-camp and the Imperator had decided to take his morning walk. I was in a field, just ahead of the Imperator, taking care of my Morning routine, when my furious stream of urine set off a chain of landmines surrounding the camp that we'd evaded only by a miracle. Had the Imperator made it out of the perimeter before I'd relieved myself, He'd likely not be here today, and so I was awarded my fifth Imperator's Star (the Previous two were for writing an epic poem about our Glorious Imperator, and the design of a better mousetrap). The Fourth time I saved the Eternal Life of the Imperator was when he was eating pretzels in the den of the Imperial palace of............... <20 hours later> So, in conclusion of this, the acceptance of my 347th Imperator's Star, I would like to finish with some final thoughts. Persistence is the key to victory, and absolutely you have to brush between your toes during every shower. Why, if I hadn't, I wouldn't have had the revelation that saved the Imperator's life and the entire Imperial Navy..... <170 hours later> ... and so you have my eternal thanks, all of you who are still alive, and I wish for your health and success, may it almost reach mine.
  10. I've broken almost every gun I've ever owned once. I'd love to run some more through the ringer.
  11. I want to build them a new sim, I've got a good, imperialistic design sitting around (Since SOMEONE DECIDED IT WASN'T GOOD ENOUGH FOR THE ORDO) and use that. OR Agares and I could just make one from scratch, and still blow the minds of the Military Community with an awesome build. Either way, win-win.
  12. On this day, a score and five years prior, was born Heather McKay. The birds sang, the dogs danced, and anyone not in uniform was given a dissaproving eye and a slowly tapping foot.
  13. You could just ask Agares and I to build you something awesome there. Just sayin'.
  14. The dead have finally gone to their much needed rest. No more shambling about for them.
  15. Well, yeah, but as you'll notice, both use general terms, it's just that personality inventories (the real ones, at the very least) are more specific in their generalities, and they're narrowed through a series of questions, rather than throwing a dart at an astrological chart and calendar.
  16. INFJ-INTJ. I always test as either of these two. I'd point out that generally, the Meyer's-Brigg's is a little more complex than this internet facsimile.
  17. Terrifying. I'd much rather have a bust of your titular Great-Grandfather, Fredrick Von Stuppenhauser Vesperia. :<
  18. IA IA. Enjoy my doodle, lest terrible madness consume your pitiful minds. THE BLACK ABYSS OF REALITY LURKS JUST BEYOND.
  19. Part Two of Vegna, Man of Truth. Third Part upcoming.
  20. I want custom engraving. Artificer Officer's Armour? FUCK YEAH.
  21. YOU NEVER LEFT, YOU FLUFFY LITTLE BASTARD. NOW GIVE UNCLE TIRI A HUG AND SIT ON MY LUMPY-LAP.
